I could be wrong about this but first of all, I like Marc Gafni very much. I think he has much to say, but... I think he was unfortunately traumatized by the accusations of grown women who rather than deal with their own issues in a mature way sought to criminalize something which was inherently interpersonal. He was so unfortunately vilified by so many that to his credit Ken Wilber saw his great talent and embraced him when few would. So it is understandable that he sees himself as somehow beholding to the Wilber take on things. I think this has messed him up. This book is a complete mish-mash as Gafni's voice is wedded to Wilber's approach. I think he would do better free from this. His earlier work was much better and clearer. He's got enormous talent and we need to hear from him, not just an erotic rendering of Wilber. Just a thought, I could be way off base.

Nothing new or interesting here. Very repetitive. Bought it after being told it gives you an experience. It doesn't at all. Lots of heady intellectual talk, no feeing or experience.
Profound. Respectful. Liberating. Joyful. A Return to Eros presents clearly a new and positive narrative in which to embrace being fully alive in all aspects of living while embracing the passion, wonder, and power of our sexuality. A desperately needed book. I'm sending copies to my grown kids immediately.
